Tecnolog\u00eda, informaci\u00f3n y conocimiento para mejorar la toma de decisiones<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

H\u00e9ctor Ponce Arias es Profesor Titular de la Facultad de Administraci\u00f3n y Econom\u00eda de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Es PhD in Management Systems por la University of Lincoln, Reino Unido, e Ingeniero Civil en Inform\u00e1tica por la Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Desde 2001 desarrolla docencia e investigaci\u00f3n en el Departamento de Contabilidad y Auditor\u00eda de la FAE-USACH.

Su investigaci\u00f3n se centra en sistemas de informaci\u00f3n, tecnolog\u00edas interactivas, aprendizaje digital y an\u00e1lisis de datos, con especial inter\u00e9s en c\u00f3mo las personas buscan, interpretan y utilizan informaci\u00f3n presentada mediante recursos digitales.

Sus trabajos estudian el impacto del dise\u00f1o de interfaces y sistemas interactivos sobre la atenci\u00f3n, la comprensi\u00f3n y la toma de decisiones, utilizando metodolog\u00edas experimentales y herramientas como el seguimiento ocular. Actualmente dirige el Centre for Experimental Social Science y se desempe\u00f1a como director cient\u00edfico del Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo en Tecnolog\u00edas Interactivas.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n
